It’s no secret that I love fashion, but sometimes getting the pieces I want is really expensive! I try to be smart with my budget, so sometimes there is just no way that I can afford a new pair of shoes at retail price. I found this little tidbit of information on Fashionista sort of interesting: the average American today only spends about 2.98% of their annual income on clothing. If that doesn’t seem like a huge number to you, compare it to the 11% that people spent in 1950! More »

As someone who thinks about and writes about fashion quite often, I definitely like shopping for new clothes. To the person who sold me two Givenchy bracelets for $20 on accident… I, like, love you. With every ounce of my being! Since the bracelets were $20 each to begin with, I’m hoping it was an honest mistake because honestly, I didn’t know until I looked at my receipt. (I’m that kind of shopper.)
