Today, Kristen and I were able to check out the Timo Weiland Fall/Winter 2010 presentation, “Pageantry and Ceremonial Splendour.” This particular collection fit the title correctly with it’s focus mainly on clothes meant to be worn out and for the purpose of showing off all the rich details. The collection was rich with denim tweed, knits, ’60s mod inspiration and deep bold colors like teal, green and red. More »

This morning it was reported that British designer Alexander McQueen committed suicide and was found in his home. This is very upsetting news for the fashion world, which highly regarded his work. McQueen was responsible for outfitting celebrities, such as Bjork, Sarah Jessica Parker and Lady Gaga, and just last year produced a successful Designer for Target collection. More »
