Designers, namely Anna Wintour, have been showing their support towards Barack Obama‘s reelection campaign by holding numerous fundraisers for the president. The latest project, called Runway to Win, is the sequel to 2008′s Runway to Change and features a total of 22 different designers such as Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang, Jason Wu, and Rachel Roy. The theme of Diane von Furstenberg’s show which fell on 9/11 was ‘optimism.’ Rightly, so given her collection. The mood was very bright and lively, nothing dark or too dramatic. Diane von Furstenberg can pretty much do no wrong. Her clothing line is elegant and edgy at the same time, she designs some pretty adorable handbags, and now she has added sunglasses to her lineup of amazing products! I confess that I spent some time in Henri Bendel trying on DVF’s new line, and I’m now dreaming of these awesome pink frames! More »
