So, when I first read of this costume, I thought Anna Rexia was some hip celebrity. Turns out this Halloween costume is nothing like that. A play on words, Anna Rexia actually refers to anorexia, one prominent eating disorder amongst women and men today. While I admit, the concept is relatively clever/punny, I do not like that it in a way mocks or satirizes a serious condition that is a struggle for many people. More »
