Go back in time with the new Marilyn Monroe-inspired collection heading to Macy’s

Marilyn Monroe was more than America’s most famous sex symbol—she was a style icon who continues to inspire generations of women. With her legacy in mind, Macy’s announced it will launch a line inspired by the starlet.

“Marilyn Monroe’s appeal is legendary, and Macy’s is excited to launch a collection that draws inspiration from her timeless style,” Macy’s chief marketing officer Martine Reardon said in a statement.

Taking cues from the ultra-girly style Marilyn was so famous for, the line includes tie-front crop tops, cherry-patterned sundresses, and, of course, polka-dot and halter-style dresses that cinch at the waist and were inspired by her infamous white dress from 1955′s The Seven Year Itch. The pieces will range from $29 to $89, and will be available in stores and Macys.com this March.
