Tyra Banks reveals she’s excited that men will compete on ‘America’s Next Top Model’

For the 20th season of ‘America’s Next Top Model‘, Tyra Banks has announced that men will be competing alongside women on the show.

Tyra revealed that she has been asking for five years that men would be able to compete on the show, she said it wasn’t easy to convince them, and that everyone thinks she is the boss and can decide what happens, but that doesn’t seem to be true.

When asked why she thinks the change finally happened, she replied, “I think it has something to do with the 20th anniversary [of the show],” she continued, “I think [the network executives] were ready for a bang and a change.”

Judge Rob Evans thinks that friendly competition between men and women will be good for the show, and expand the viewership and of course also adds drama.

He also revealed that he likes the mixed idea, saying that if it were only males it wouldn’t be as dramatic because they aren’t as b****y as woman.
