Painted Bird presents us with handwoven shoes

Despite Painted Bird being launched just a few months ago by Jennifer Samson and Nicole Halpern, they’ve already managed to hook celebrities like Blake Lively, Reese Witherspoon, and Kate Hudson. Maybe their popularity will spread even further with their new line of hand-woven shoes.

Samson stated that, “The name came from the idea of beautiful pieces of art for your feet that make you feel like you can take flight and be anywhere. We love the fact that they are handmade, and we want to keep the integrity of that.”

Each and every pair of shoes created are special - they’re hand-dyed and hand-woven by a group of 8 women in India.
