Jason Wu’s Spring ‘13 collection goes for seduction

A designer most famous for his dresses, especially when donned by first lady Michelle Obama, Jason Wu is preparing his spring collection for New York fashion week! This time, it seems the style will be more provocative than his usual “pretty and proper” designs.

This information was deduced after Wu revealed to Style.com that his inspiration will be coming from Helmut Newton’s photographs, all of which are known to be seductive. Also, he has brought in help from La Perla, the “leading creator of luxurious and fashionable lingerie, nightwear, swimwear, and loungewear,” to give his collection a sexy touch.

Wu seems to be pleased with the way the collection has turned out, and hopefully it’ll hold up to his line’s reputation.
