Sad but true, 20,000 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes are going to go up in smoke, well not really Louboutins but fake ones.

20,000 pairs of fake heels were confiscated by US Customs and Border Patrol, that were being shipped from China to the United States. The clever investigators noticed that the shipment that normaly comes from Italy came from China.

The shoes were going to be sold for a staggering $18 million at Louboutin retail values when they only cost $3 to make.

It is sad to see 20,000 perfect shoes go up in flames, it gets you to wonder if there wasn’t a better solution for the shoes. But I do think that it is good they doing something about the fakes.

What do you think?

It’s a waste, but it’s better than having people purchase fake ones.
