Lindsay Lohan’s little sister, Ali (Aliana), is a model as of last year. Besides the talk and rumors of plastic surgery and eating disorder going around, there was also the question of who actually hired Ali to model. She got a chance on the runway and graced the cover of Page Six Magazine. Those were the two most known accomplishments she did, which doesn’t amount to much at all. Well, now she has another opportunity: modeling in South Korea.

TMZ.com says:

Let’s hope Lindsay Lohan’s little sister likes to chow down on things like kimchi and bibimbap … because her modeling agency just sent her 6,000 miles away to go find work in … KOREA! According to our sources … 18-year-old Ali Lohan will spend the next 30 days or so living in Korea (South, not North) with a group of 3-4 other Americans in a “model house” as they all try to book gigs in the Asian market. Sources close to Lohan tell TMZ … Ali had no issues with peacing out of the U.S. for a few weeks — she’ll now be an entire ocean away from Dina — and told friends she’ll keep in touch via Skype. Her family said goodbye last week with a sendoff dinner in NYC (below) … but LiLo couldn’t make it because she’s too busy shooting “The Canyons” with that porn star guy. Good luck Ali … and if you see a sign that says “Nuclear Testing Ground” … walk the other way.

Ouch. Seems like it might just be better for Ali to leave her family for (at least) a bit. How old is she this year? Eighteen. She doesn’t look like it though, does she? I hope she has a better chance of success in Korea, with connection opportunities and competing in the modeling business! What do you think about her going to South Korea?

Hmmm I’m a bit skeptical about this. I feel bad for her with all the negative media attention she and her family gets. I don’t really think of her as a model, but I guess if she qualifies she should take up the opportunity to explore new things. Good luck to her I guess. I hope her past experiences and her young age don’t jade her or make her into a bad person (pressure of the media and all that).
