The upcoming September Vogue issue will be its largest ever! The September 2007 pre-crash Vogue was the magazine’s largest issue with 840 pages. This September’s Lady Gaga-covered Vogue will have a total of 658 ad pages, which shows a 14% growth from last year.

It is rumored that Teen Vogue‘s September issue will be its largest issue ever as well. The previous record was held by September’s 2006 Mischa Barton-covered issue, which was 370 pages.

To celebrate its record-breaking September issue, Vogue will be launching a Facebook contest on Friday, asking readers to guess the grand total page count. The 100 readers who guess closest to the actual number, which will be revealed on Saturday, will win Vogue’s new Editor’s Eye book (not due out until September) autographed by the Vogue editors.
