Lauren Conrad shows off new eco-friendly beauty and travel line

It’s seems like forever ago when we first heard about Lauren Conrad launching an eco-friendly cosmetic accessories collection with BlueAvocado, but the time has finally come - LC’s new line has officially launched!

Just this week The Hills star released a collection of sustainable and reusable products with BlueAvocado, called XO(eco). The collection carries everything from cute food storage containers to on-the-go cosmetics bags and - get this - even a hot iron bag so you can pack your straightener in your luggage even if it’s still piping hot. Genius!

The coolest part, though, is that each one of these accessories is actually created from REPREVE-based fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. There is anywhere from 3 to 35 of them used to make each product! Insane, right? The entire collection was designed to reduce waste and conserve natural resources, and is named after her signature “XO” mark to show her commitment to a “loveable style for a liveable planet.”
