Karl Lagerfeld’s obsession with his cat Choupette turns into a collection

Seems like Karl Lagerfeld really loves his cat Choupette a lot, since he based a entire collection on the ice-blue eyes of the kitten.

Vanity Fair spoke with Diane Kruger, the neighbour of Lagerfeld, who had the rare fortune to meet the famed kitten:

[Karl's] obsessed! An entire collection was inspired by his cat’s eyes.

There was some news that there would be a ‘Choupette’ inspired bag on the way, but seems like the one bag turned into a whole collection.

VF tried to dig a little deeper on the kitten’s life, but Kruger wouldn’t bite:

Is Choupette, you know, playful and friendly? Did she roll over for a belly rub, or is she fiercely aloof, secure in her superiority over the rest of us? “It’s a cat,” Kruger said with a shrug. “It’s a cat.”

That cat has a very demanding schedule to be the muse of Karl Lagerfeld, she already has two maids, iPad skills, a V spread in the works and nearly 10,000 Twitter Followers
