Kate Spade may soon be launching a lower-priced line.
So far, there are no official announcements from the brand, but an unnamed source shared a whole bunch of very real-sounding details on the alleged line with the News.
If he/she is to be believed, the line will be a casual counterpart to the Kate Spade collection. It will focus on home goods and also include apparel. Prices will be lower than Kate Spade’s current line and this label, reportedly named Saturday, will be focusing on e-commerce rather than brick-and-mortar stores. The source also said it would be rolling out by the end of the year.
The News also did a little digging and reports that a trademark for the “Kate Spade Saturday” name has indeed been registered to cover products including home goods, footwear, jewelry, and cosmetics.
Who is looking forward to the new, lower-priced, Kate Spade line?
