Katie Holmes may be currently in the spotlight for her divorce with Tom Cruise, but she’s also getting some media for her new Katie & Yang Collection that is set to debut at New York Fashion Week.

Launched in 2009 with her design partner Jeanne Yang, the label’s goal is to create luxury basics that appeal to everyone from “rock stars to heads of state”. There is a lot of emphasis on day-to-night pieces as well as emphasis on craftsmanship.

As her personal life isn’t going to make an impact on her fashion label, I can’t see what pieces she’ll bring to us this season!
