With lots of love towards movement in her designs, Cynthia Rowley debuts her Resort 2013 lookbook with an inspiration this time that seems to come from Mylar balloons. Certainly a very whimsical approach that you can see incorporated into all the pieces this time around.

The Resort 2013 collection has open arms to the different shine, foil, and flash details that adorn them. From front foiled t-shirts, to flash lens sunglasses and earrings, the overprinted jacquard dresses all have that eye-catching something that makes it hard to look away. Not that you’d want to.

Dot play was also big, with shadow print dots, cabochon dots on shoes and socks, and even the round sunglasses that were made to look like two big dots covering the eyes - very mod.

I really like the incorporation of the balloons, since who doesn’t like shiny things? But it brings in a nice, almost-laid back feeling to everything, which I would think you’d want, since the pieces are pretty on-point as comfortable resort wear.

there is some that I would probably wear smile


really like this, there are a lot of pretty pieces, Love the prints! and the kind of stiffness most of the fabrics have


I loved the leather combination of skirt and jacket!!! I want them!


I didn’t particularly like any of them, but I guess that’s just my taste lol


Some of the outfits are really pretty~!
But some of them are kinda weird… raspberry
