Negarin Fall 2012: Jet Setter-Chic

According to designer Negarin, the Fall 2012 collection is all about world travel and exotic locales you’ve traveled. The inspiration is interpreted in the collection through color, lines and patterns and the ease in which you can travel with the pieces from the Fall 2012 collection. The collection is trans-seasonal, meaning you could travel from Miami to London without thinking twice about the extreme climates. To make things even more travel-friendly, a few of the pieces in the collection like the matelasse jackets and shorts are non-crease!

The palette of the collection is a great mix of navy blue, black and pastel brights wonderful to wear just about anywhere. Personally, this collection has me excited about the idea of mixing black/darker colors with pastel colors!

I also really enjoyed that the Negarin Fall 2012 collection possesses a multicultural flair that really does communicate a message of being well-traveled and intelligent. Wide laser cut belts are reminiscent of the obi belt traditionally worn with kimonos. Jackets were kimono like and collars looked inspired by the mandarin collar, but not as rigid. Geometric prints are bright and remind me of travelling through the South West as a child. Heading over to the opposite side of the globe, the collection also included tops and dresses that were kaftan-inspired and definitely comfy-looking!

If you’re not one for travel, the entire line translates into comfy, chic clothes that will fit any situation of your life!
