Models wearing looks from Candela’s Fall 2012 collection were posed on what looked like a setup of wooden mine posts, complete with lanterns and flowers strewn around for a rustic feel. Drinks were even served in tin cups to take the fashion presentation experience to another level. Overhearing Candela’s designer, it was pointed out that the inspiration for her collection was the Gold Rush. There is definitely a dreamy Western feel to the collection with an instance of a cowboy button-up shirts, lace dresses, chunky knits, booties and flowy prairie skirts. The most attractive piece of the collection was a blue and silver sequined shift dress. If that dress was the focal point of the collection then it could be deduced that she represents what the mine was built for.
The collection overall is gold to those who are more carefree and feminine in their dressing.
