Everybody wants to know: What’s the best way to capture a supermodel’s heart this Valentine’s Day? According to Victoria’s Secret Angel, Adriana Lima, 30, it’s through “roses!”

She told PEOPLE, “If my husband sends them to me at home, I’ll be very happy. There’s nothing better than to receive flowers from someone you love.”

The Brazilian supermodel says that she prefers getting presents that are “very elegant, very thoughtful and very romantic” from her husband, Marko Jaric, rather than something expensive and meaningless.

She continued, “Valentine’s Day means giving and receiving love in all different forms. I think men should touch a woman’s emotions. I love kisses, hugs…all that good stuff!”

Want another piece of advice? “Go a little more old-fashioned and include a handwritten note,” she advised. “It’s really touching and more direct.”
