Back in the 1980s, almost every you looked there was neon. Neon pants, neon bags, neon shoes, neon everything! Nowadays, there clearly isn’t as much, but many retailers are hoping to get the trend started again.

Retailers are making an attempt to make the slow economic growth feel better brighter, thanks to the intense neon colors. Eric Beder, a retail analyst at Brean, Murray, Carret & Co. says that “If it is successful, the retail segment will have a very good year. It’s a radical change.” Places like Target are selling neon duffle bags while top brand Calvin Klein is selling bright-colored men’s underwear.

I’m pretty sure that this entire thing will work. Kids and teenagers love all the splashy and fun colors!
