Prada has revealed that her latest project will be staging an exhibition in Paris for 24 hours! The museum, named “24h Museum,” was designed by Francesco Vezzoli with AMO, Rem Koolhaas’ think tank.
According to a recent release, a “nonexistent museum” has been created with three spaces: historic, contemporary and forgotten. Instead of clothes, the interior of the museum will feature sculptures of women, which are described as “interpretations of classical sculptures that make reference to contemporary divas.”
The museum opens on the evening of January 24th at the Palais d’Iéna and closes the next day. However, it is only open to the public for just a few hours. The opening will feature a private dinner that will become a ‘disco-club,’ which will stream live on the museum’s official website. As a bonus, you can also download a Facebook app and create your own 24h Museum framed portrait here.
