We’ve all heard about Crocs, and have probably already decided whether we love them or not. The brand always has a different look shown (with that same darn plastic), but it looks like Dutch artist Sit wants to take Crocs in a completely different direction.

The artist created this unique pair of Croc(odile) shoes as part of the “Hybrid Thinking” exhibition. It is currently on display at the New York Jonathan Levine Gallery and it has been catching eyes ever since. The reason, you may ask? It is the artist’s way of showing just how chaotic the fashion industry can get.

Let’s just hope that PETA realizes that they’re not real crocodiles, and that the artist is actually on their side.
