For those of you that were under the impression that Carine Roitfeld was only going to edit magazines and ads for women, you’re wrong! The former Vogue Paris editrix worked on the upcoming issue of V Man, as a guest, and it should be available just in time for the day of love, Valentine’s Day.

Women’s Wear Daily stated that this may be the first and last time that Roitfeld tries out the men’s fashion editorial, but that didn’t stop her from using her practiced hand to perfect the issue just like she would when doing a Chanel publication. French actor, Tahar Rahim, was picked for the cover and the pages of the magazine were filled with people from Glee’s Chord Overstreet to bullfighter José María Manzanares.

The core of the issue is to show a collection of men that are actually “real people.” Of course, celebrities are featured, but there will also be chefs, architects and even firemen posing like models. Male models. Roitfeld said that she did not wants to use real models because, “I like men trendy, but not fashion victims … When you work with real people, you can’t impose something.”
