Kim Kardashian endorses so many different things that it’s hard to keep count. One of the biggest commercials for her last year was with Skechers‘ Shape-Ups that aired during the Super Bowl. Needless to say, her being in the commercial alone boosted sales a ton.

However, this year isn’t quite the same as we won’t be seeing Kim K in the Skechers commercial. Instead, we’ll be seeing a dog. The pup will be wearing a higher-tech shoe on its paws and while chasing a pack of greyhounds.

No, Kim did not get replaced. As Skechers emphasized, her contract simply ended. Leonard Armato, an executive at Skechers, stated, “Kim got us more attention than we ever dreamed. We have to establish Skechers as more than a lifestyle company.”
