Nowadays, it’s hard scoring a cute outfit for a great price. With all the stores increasing their prices with the ever falling economy, we can’t always afford the latest in style clothing. However, with these fashion tips, it’ll be easy to score a great buy!

These tips will only work well if you have a credit card or paypal and can purchase things through online shopping. If you don’t, you can always try to borrow a relatives! Although it’s fun browsing through the stores, it actually ends up being pretty costly. For me personally, I score all my greatest deals when browsing through the internet. It saves me the trouble of going out, and I still get the cutest in fashion clothing.

Firstly, a store you have to look out for online would definitely be Forever 21.

Forever 21 is definitely one of the latest chic, in style stores for girls and guys alike. However, the prices aren’t always all that appealing. There’s a simply solution to that! Forever 21’s online store is always having some wicked specials, whether it’s buy one get one free, or free shipping! (My personal favorite is buy one get one free, which is something Forever seems to be doing frequently.) The key to Forever is to go directly towards their “SALE” category. When we look around the normal priced items, it’s always tempting to buy that $20 top, or those $30 jeans. Also, make sure to check out Forever when it’s near the holiday seasons, such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, because the best sales always come out there!

When Forever’s not offering free shipping, the solution to that is simple, and this strategy works out for all of those online stores. Buy with a friend! Or a relative, neighbor, enemy, whomever! The more people there are, the easier it is to reach over $50. This way, not only will you get free shipping, but you won’t feel obliged to have to spend over $50 all by yourself.

Another place that gives out some pretty cute clothing for a pretty great price is Ebay. Now I know what you’re all thinking, Ebay isn’t the ideal place to get clothing, because you never know if somebody can scam you. However, from all my personal past experiences, Ebay is the perfect place to get some great clothing for a great price. The key to Ebay, however, is to do the auctions! The buy now prices always go for $20 or $30, and that’s not the most ideal price when wanting to save money. Therefore, when searching for some must buys, like infinity scarves, or cute coats, always change the category to “Low to High.” If we just browse through the normal pricing, we’re bond to have something catch our eye that’s not exactly the cheapest thing out there. Therefore, when it starts at the cheapest, and gradually gets higher, set a cut off point for yourself. Tell yourself, “Okay, I’m only willing to go up to $7,” and when you the items start to get into that category, close the tab! If you look any further, you’ll be tempted to buy some new things.

However, even auctions can tempt us to splurge. I myself became a victim of the temptations of auctions when it’s down to the last minute, and somebody else is trying to get the exact same sweater as me. When occasions like that happen, we end up bidding more then our initial price just because we want to beat out the other seller. To prevent this from happening, bid the greatest amount you’re willing to pay for that piece of clothing, and then never look at it again, until after the bidding ends. You might lose it from time to time, but at least this is a safe way to guarantee that you wont give into that bidding frenzy war.

When purchasing on Ebay, make sure you check out the reliability of seller by looking at their positive feedback rate. Also, if the seller has some negative feedback, check it out to see exactly what was so wrong about it. Did it take a long time to ship? Or maybe the item was of some bad quality.

With these couple of online tips, you won’t go wrong when purchasing affordable items! - or at least, you won’t concerning Forever 21 and Ebay.
