If Kate Middleton can recycle outfits, so you can too…if you have the right shoes. I happily stumbled upon a pair of Lindsay Phillips Snap Shoes, specifically the Liz Gray Flannel Ballet Flats and have found myself being Kate Middleton-minded lately thanks in part to the concept behind the Lindsay Phillips Snap Shoes. The concept is this: One pair of shoes and an endless amount of style possibilities with the interchangeable snap. What’s an ‘interchangeable snap’? Well, it’s nothing like Z-formation in the air snap that I use to express my inner diva. The interchangeable snap is a brooch and/or bow-like adornment for your shoe that snaps into place and comes off whenever you feel the urge to change your snap…in a snap. Some pictures if you will:

Exhibit C: Snap Time

My Lindsay Phillips Ballet Flats have just been upgraded to a blinged out flower brooch. Or starburst, whatever suits your mood. Here’s what they look like on:

My other options are:

Interchangeable looks aside, the fit of these flats is rather mind-boggling. They’re basically flats that feel like house slippers. (Read: Super, duper comfortable.) I especially love the extra cushioning in the soles. Sadly though, the flats aren’t entirely friendly for those with foot arch issues which is common of most flats. They’re still do-able with arch inserts!

If flats aren’t your thing, Lindsay Phillips also has a variety of other shoe styles priced from $49 to 66. Snaps are between $12 and $15. Sizes go up to 11, which is a plus for taller, bigger shoe-sized women like myself. Overall a great investment if you’re on a budget and have a weaker will to recycle looks. Two thumbs up from me!

Interesting! I like the idea of interchangeable snaps =D But perhaps those brooches adornments aren’t to my liking… a bit too old fashion I think ~_~
