Walter Spring 2012 Collection: Playful textures and dimensions for the city girl

The Walter Spring 2012 presentation marked the first time I’d ever been to the Empire Hotel and it’s Rooftop Lounge. Not knowing what to expect at this presentation, I was pleasantly welcomed by a collection of clothes that satisfy the needs of any stylish city girl. According to Walter, the Spring 2012 collection is all about textures and dimensions and rightly so! I found myself in love with various looks that paired textured/leather jackets with flowy sheer dresses and longer tops with shorter bottoms.

Aside from the different textures and dimensions, I admired that the collection was stylish and trendy but not overkill. There were healthy doses of prints-on-prints, color blocking and sheer looks. Another thing to note was the presence of orange! Orange by now is proving itself to be the new black and is the color of a handful of delicious dresses, jackets, and shorts in Walter’s Spring 2012 collection.

Walter’s Spring 2012 Collection was one of few I could actually see myself wearing because it translates so well into the everday life of a stylish girl.
