We can always count on Rebecca Taylor to give us girly. For her Spring 2012 collection, she did something different. She sent down edgier, slightly more eccentric looks down the runway. Despite this, we still received our same dose of girly from Taylor. The looks were as edgy and ‘different’ as could be from Taylor. For this, I admire her for pushing her collection out of what’s usually safe.

To add a little danger to the collection, Taylor ditched eyelets for laser cut tops, used moodier colors (dark blue, black, metallic colors), snakeskin, showed a little skin in some cross-back tank tops and mesh. At the same time, we were not without pearls, sequins, florals and flow. Speaking of pearls, the most interesting accessory to note was that pearls were worn like a sash. Seeing that has inspired me to do the same!

cool collection ~
but it’s a pretty safe one too ..
starting with the neutral colors ..that shows no sense of adventure ..
even the yellow and bright colors ~ they chooses the safe neutral degree of it ..
the designs too is not so creative i think ~
didn’t like many outfits here ~ .. 


they’re decent but not anything i would wear
the hoodie looks cool though :o
