Being a native Californian in New York, Odilon’s Spring 2012 Presentation really hit home with me for being influenced by the ’90s, California beach and skate culture, Francoise Hardy and all of the gutsy, bold alternative rock heroines that I adored in the junior high. The color palette for Odilon’s Spring 2012 collection is itself pretty bold for Spring aside from the white — bright yellow, green and navy. While most of the designs were very 90s minimalistic, the printed stripes and pullover tunics reminded me a lot of what I remember skaterboys wearing to class in highschool in the mornings.

The 90s isn’t the only decade Odilon was reminiscent of — there was also a handful of 60s shift dresses fit for Francois Hardy! The silhouettes overall, are very loose and the design of collection’s pieces look tailored for any body type. Here’s just a few looks that I really enjoyed:
