As you can see in the picture, Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau is wearing heavy makeup and a high-fashion outfit. This picture is featured on the cover AND inside the magazine Vogue. And how old is she?–10.

This girl is no ordinary girl from next-door. Her father is Patrick Blondeau, a former soccer star, and her Veronika Loubry, a former French TV personality. Definitely not what I call typical parents.

This picture stirred up quite the fuss in Britain, where representatives from Mothers’ Union believed the photo “deny Blondeau the right to be the child she is”. But child models aren’t that uncommon anymore, with the people like Elle Fanning, Amanda Seyfried, and Lindsay Lohan leading the trend many years back.

Personally, if Thylane truly enjoys and LOVES doing this, I don’t think there is any reason to hold her back. However, if this is just some sort of lifestyle her parents want her to lead without her consent, then something must be done.
