Following the goth romance that was the Marchesa Fall 2011 presentation this past week, I headed over to a more vibrant Helen Yarmak Fall 2011 presentation. For those not familiar with Helen Yarmak, know that when it comes to fur and celebrity, she is your go-to designer. (Beyonce, Rihanna and Janet Jackson are just a few of her clients.) Like the current long length trend this past fashion week saw, Helen Yarmak’s fur coats were mostly at knee length and carried a youthful spirit through bright color, camouflage prints and edgy shine. Fossil has also promised to bring the retro concept to their store, and transport you back to the 70’s. Their spring collection is also a part of the “Long Live Vintage” campaign that honours the the history of the neighborhood as well as the fashion.
