Couple days ago, Alexa Chung was complaining about getting too much free swag on her interview for Elle UK. You’re probably thinking ‘WHAT!’ because who would say no to free stuff? It is true, she admits that she cannot handle all the massive amount of free swag delivered to her daily.

She protests:

I get sent a fair amount of stuff—but it’s not all things that I’d have chosen. It makes you question your own taste sometimes. Do I even like this? My house is tiny and I can’t fit things in. So if my mum or my friends don’t want it, I send it back or give it to a charity shop. It’s worrying to think how much those things are worth. When you get it for free it’s like, ‘Oh, this thing,’ and then you see it in a magazine and f**king hell, it’s £2,000! Meanwhile you’ve been scrambling around in festival mud in it.

After this personal speech, I feel sad for her situation. How could she fit it all in her house? It is a great idea to give it to a charity shop. You can’t really blame the brands that are sending her all these stuff. If I was running a company on beauty products, of course I would be sending her large amounts of my products so she could promote it in some sort of way. Keep doing your job Alexa by donating it to charity. It’s the best way to solve it.
