Lady Gaga made her recent appearance at 2010 MTV Video Music Awards wearing her one-of-a-kind meat dress. Even though many people chose this dress as their Halloween costume, newspapers and numerous New Jersey butchers disapprove of the idea of an outfit made of steaks.

As soon she was spotted with this dress, the newspaper stated that wearing a meat dress could lead to toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that could become a series brain damage or death among those with weak immune systems.

Andrew Ilnicki, of the East Village Meat Market, said the Gaga meat dress was feasible but would require between 4.5kg to 6.8kg of meat in order to protect a young lady’s modesty. He begged people not to contact him because he is not prepared to make it. He also said: “It’s a unique dress, so I wouldn’t want to make a copy. Plus my daughter says it’s disgusting.”

Not only will this dress be expensive, but the meat many not be strong enough to maintain its structure as a garment for the night. Wherever you sit and lean, it will stain blood juice all over it. Yuck.
I was surprised seeing photos of Lady Gaga wearing this dress. How creative could see be? Only she could pull these sorts of dresses. I love this dress because it is so fierce, but the fact that you may be covered in blood, turns me off.

aww that is disgusting!! i know she is unique, but this is over the top. i thought it was fake meat when i first read the title, but it is real meat. i would never wear something like this because it feels too dirty

If it was actually made of meat, then flies would find it in about half of second and start laying their eggs.... And… You know the rest. It turns into a “white dress.”

I don’t think the meat dress is actually made of real meat, just for the health reasons alone.

I applaud Lady Gaga for being so out-of-the-ordinary with her fashion choices, including this dress. Normal is so boring.
