The Rue du Mail 2011 spring RTW collection for Paris Fashion Week almost blinded me from the bright neon colors but it was still intriguing. The contrast of the bold colors, silk layers, and tulle leave quite an impression on you. Electric romantic is how the designer described it. A big contrast to the bright colors is the dark and sexy tuxedo jackets and coat dresses. The large ribbons that occasionally pop up isn’t something you see on the streets that often but they give the outfits more style. I don’t know why but it’s hard for me to stop staring at the trippy aqua splash dress. More »

The Milan 2011 Fashion Week showed many different collections that both mortified and amazed me. Blumarine’s leopard print dresses were a big no thank you but the one that had me lingering around for a few extra minutes was Emilio Pucci’s 70’s-meets-Greek spring ready-to-wear collection. The 70’s and Greek fashion has always been my kind of style and some, not all, of the outfits produced had me wanting to spend even penny I have. More »

From Girlybubble: These Teddy Bear sneakers are a bit on the unique side but that’s a given considering they were designed by Jeremy Scott, who tends to lean a bit more on the crazy, but fun side of fashion design. They are a part of his upcoming Adidas Originals collection for Spring 2011. More »

From Girlybubble: I just received this Batwing-Sleeve Zebra-Print Top today courtesy of YesStyle, and I was very happy that the top actually fit. It’s just a little bit short, but I expected that since I’m on the taller side. I just wore a black tank top underneath. More »

These shoes are bananas! B-a-n-a-n-a-s! Gwen Stefani reference aside, these shoes are legit bananas, in both senses of the word. Designer Kobi Levi is all about the shoe as a canvas, and boy are his pieces a work of art. From the witty banana shoes to the slightly suggestive “blow” pumps (that’s the one with the knees, people), Levi claims the results are “usually humoristic with a unique point of view about footwear.” More »
