There was talks in January of a collaboration between designer Jimmy Choo and the infamous Uggs brand. Expectations of what was to come were mixed, since trying to imagine how a brand that is known for fancy dress shoes was suppose to mesh with the icon for comfort-first boots. Well, thanks to Nicky Hilton, we get our first peek at what to expect for the limited edition collection.

She ended up with a pair and posted a picture for all her followers on her Twitter. From her caption for them, “Love my new Jimmy Choo Uggs!”, she supports this unexpected partnership.

On first impression, I feel kind of mixed about it too. The hardware is eye-catching but in general, I was never one to really be attracted to the style of Uggs, which results in me never wanting to own a pair. But I will voice that I think this collection will be bought due to personal taste and desires for self-judged fashionable comfort.

Even though I wouldn’t run out to snatch up this pair, maybe the other designs might change my mind. But how about you? Any Ugg-lovers out there?
