It has just been confirmed by Alexander Wang himself that he will be opening his first boutique, delightfully set in the fashion mecca of New York City!

You can expect its debut by the end of the year. It will be located on 103 Grand Street, right in the heart of Soho and neighboring other designer boutiques such as Phillip Lim and Burberry.

Here is what it looks like right now:
Wang hasn’t dropped any other hints for what we can expect it to look like but did mention how excited he is for the potential of his first store and where it will be situated, “It’s a perfect, iconic location, and there is a massive amount of windows”—and to expect what he calls “a new perspective on luxury.”

P.S. An interesting tidbit is that Wang’s new spot actually used to be where Yohji Yamamoto used to hold a store.

I must say that I will be jealous of all you NY natives, who will be able to check out the store when it is open.
