When we brought you Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2010 Collection, we said RIP believing that that’d be the last we’d ever hear of him. This stunning dress, pictured above, may have been the last piece touched by McQueen’s brilliant hands before his saddening death.

McQueen was reported to have made this dress for his longtime friend and muse, Annabelle Neilson, and she has only worn it to Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball in June. Every time I hear more news of McQueen, my heart dies a bit inside, but this is such a gorgeous dress, definitely fit to make the wearer comparable to an angel.
