The Alexander Wang Resort 2011 Collection’s accessories have recently been unveiled and I have to say that I don’t really see the inspiration that Wang alleges. According to Wang, the collection was inspired by ’suburban moms.’ I don’t know what neighborhood he’s basing this inspiration off of, but to me, the accessories are way too fierce for picking your kids up from soccer practice. A few of the bags seem like recycled versions of his previous collections. If it were anyone else recycling their pieces, it’d be bad. Since it’s Alexander Wang and almost anything he touches turns to gold, it’s A-OK in my book. Here are some of my faves from the line:

Of course, with what’s in my wallet (nothing at all), I’ll have to wait for Forever21 knock-offs.
