When Gilt Groupe launched Gilt Fuse, a more trendy and affordable version of their popular sample sale site, I was thrilled! They carried some pretty awesome sample sales from brands like Free People and BB Dakota. Now, Gilt has decided to merge Fuse back in with the rest of the site.

The two sister sites were set up on different pages, making it difficult for shoppers to search both pages at the same time. When you’re up against the timer and the sales at both sites start at the same time, it’s tough to get to everything you want. Apparently customers had expressed this feeling to Gilt Groupe, and they’ve wisely put both on the same page.

The only problem I see with this is that I always knew that by going to Gilt Fuse, the sale prices would be quite a bit lower than those on Gilt. Now I guess I’ll have to wait and see what the prices look like!
