The TIME Magazine 100 issue, an issue that recognizes 100 influential people each year, couldn’t leave Lady Gaga out. Her influence over the past year is undeniable, both in her music performances and her wardrobe! It’s no surprise then that Gaga chose such an influential wardrobe for her photo shoot with TIME: a flaming metal bra top.

Nothing says “influence” more than having to keep people at least ten feet away from you as you shoot fire from your chest. Somehow I’m really not surprised at this wardrobe choice because, well, it’s Gaga. What else would she wear, a dress?

Cyndi Lauper, Gaga’s friend and co-MAC Viva Glam spokeswoman, wrote up a very nice piece about the singer for the magazine. It’s not as if I needed convincing to be a Gaga fan, but let’s face it — if Cyndi likes her then I do too!
