If you flip through any tabloid magazine (and even some major fashion magazines!) you’ll inevitably see the “Who Wore It Better” section where two celebs are caught wearing the same outfit and then judged on who rocked it. This week, I experienced a real-life episode of this little tabloid game when I attended the 2010 Matrix Awards. The contenders? Funny-woman Tina Fey and songwriter Sheryl Crow.

The ladies were both honored at the ceremony and wore similar floral dresses by Dolce & Gabbana, but in different styles. As you can see, Tina’s was a v-neck and Sheryl wore a traditional sheath style dress. Both women laughed about the situation, which was made ever more apparent by the fact that they were seated near each other on the stage. Tina said jokingly during her acceptance speech, “If you want to see what this dress looks like on a ripshit surfer body, look over there. I wear it with a sweater!”

Someone over at Dolce & Gabbana might be in trouble for this mix-up, although both ladies played it off so nicely that I’m sure it wasn’t a big deal. I personally like Tina’s look better, but which do you prefer?
