If you’ve walked by an Apple store in the past few days, you’ve probably noticed a huge line of people outside waiting to buy the iPad. While I don’t necessarily think that an iPad fits into my life, I’m amused by how many fashion-related applications are launching in the beginning weeks of Apple’s new cash cow.
Sartorialist — This app allows you to flip through the great street fashion photography of Scott Schuman aka The Sartorialist. It’s free too!
Gilt Groupe — Gilt has created an app that has received awesome reviews so far. Apparently it brings online shopping to a whole different level with features that allow you to zoom in really close on pictures and easy drag-and-drop of items into your shopping cart!
Interview Magazine — The April issue of Interview Magazine is available for $.99 on the iPad. I’m interested to see how this might change the way that people read magazines, but I have a feeling that not enough people will have the iPad to make a huge difference. Let’s face it, we all like to hold a magazine in our hands and leave the online platforms for our favorite blogs!
