It was over 70 degrees yesterday and today. Hallelujah! Warm weather means that it’s almost time for one of my favorite New York pastimes: chips, guacamole, and big ol’ margaritas at a sidewalk restaurant. We might not have much space in the city, but we make outdoor patios out of any inch of sidewalk that we can. I picked up this Mexican-inspired dress at Forever 21 yesterday for the occasion.

Forever 21 can be the most frustrating place ever to shop because they have way too much inventory, but when you find a good piece for under $30, it feels rewarding! This dress is embroidered with pretty colorful flowers and embellished with cut-outs. It’s sort of sexy without being skanky (FYI: it doesn’t look as short on me as it does on this tall model, and I’m 5′5). I’m planning to pair it with a pair of cute sandals and a shiny new pedicure!
