Danielle Steel’s Louboutin Collection

I read a Danielle Steel book once over a summer. It was so long ago that I couldn’t tell you which one it was, but I definitely know that it involved a lot of steamy scenes. I mean, it’s Danielle Steel. Of course it did. She’s arguably the most successful romance writer today, and I guess she must measure that success in shoes — 6,000 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes to be precise.

Apparently the author buys Mr. Louboutin’s pretty pumps a store-ful at a time. With your most basic pair of Loubs clocking in around $600, that’s a lot of shoe money!

Now I will showcase my incredible math skills: Ms. Steel has 6,000 pairs which means that she could wear a different pair of Loubs every single day for nearly sixteen and a half years! She must collect them or something, because there is no way that she’s going to wear them all. I think she should share, don’t you?
