As much as I wish I could say that I was around on Thursday afternoon when the grand master of fashion himself, Karl Lagerfeld, was shooting the Fall 2010 Chanel campaign, I wasn’t. So disappointing. Luckily, that’s what digital cameras and Twitter are for!
Nitrolicious tweeted some great photos of Karl up on a crane platform, taking pictures of Freja Erichsen and Abbey Lee Kershaw on the fire escape of a building. Abbey Lee was all bundled up in a beautiful fur-trimmed coat (actually I suppose that would be faux fur, coming from the Fall 2010 collection!)! Wise idea to shoot the outdoors campaign now before the city gets too hot and unbearable for winter jackets.
I’m not sure if they have wrapped shooting, since they were definitely shooting on Wednesday too, but it looks like they have some great ideas for the Fall glossies! Check out pictures of the shoot here.
