It seems like just yesterday that it was New York Fashion Week, but now we’ve gone through London and Milan to the final Fall 2010 Fashion Week in Paris. WWD reported this morning that the Editor-in-Chief of French Vogue, the ever-stylish and edgy Carine Roitfeld, was excluded from Balmain’s guest list this season! Oh, l’horreur!

Carine doesn’t really know why this happened, but apparently nobody from the French Vogue staff was invited, so this is no fluke. Carine seems to handle the situation with class as her only comment was, “It’s too bad, it’s a beautiful house and it’s French. I hope that it’s not forever.”

It seems that both Carine and our beloved Anna Wintour of American Vogue have been facing difficulties at the international tents. Last week in Milan, Anna faced the fire when she only stayed for the first few days of the shows. People were so upset that droves of Anna look-alikes actually protested outside.

I think it’s about time for some Team Carine/ Team Anna t-shirts to be made (although ‘Anna’ could also mean Anna dello Russo of Japanese Vogue. Hmmm). Whose shirt would you wear? I think I’m a team Carine!
