Superbowl? Me? Like football? Not even close. Alexander Wang’s football-inspired Spring/Summer 2010 collection however, is something that scores a touch down in my fantasy closet. (BoA and Son Dam Bi are fans!) I’m not a football hater or anything, but you’re likely to catch me watching his runway show instead of the Superbowl. More »

Best-known for dressing Michelle Obama, fashion designer Jason Wu will soon be adding sunglasses to his list of items for use of (fashion) world domination. With the collaborative help of high-end sunglasses retailer Modo, the line of Jason Wu sunnies will be released this month in four styles. The price of the sunglasses aren’t exactly for the weak of wallet at $275 a pop, but they’re pretty to look at. More »

Jane Birkin’s daughter (yes Birkin of Hermes Birkin bag fame), Lou Doillon is right after Alexa Chung when it comes to my list of style muses. She’s currently the star of fashion designer Vanessa Bruno’s short film featuring her Spring 2010 collection, called Le bel été. I have no idea what that means in English, but I can imagine it means something along the lines of, “OMG CUTE CLOTHES, I WANT IT ALL.” More »

Sadly, I’m not an owner of a PSP but the PSP-3000 Sweet Limited Package, has got me wanting one in the worst way. The package is a collaboration between Sony and American fashion designer Jill Stuart. The bundle features a Blossom Pink-colored PSP-3000, a 4GB memory stick, a Jill Stuart cloth and a Jill Stuart-branded PSP carrying case. For the fashionista in me, this is one sweet deal. More »

When I was a kid, I had tons of Madame Alexander dolls. In fact, I still have all of them and the original boxes that they came in! I’ve seen the updated dolls that the company has produced in recent years, and I haven’t been impressed because I loved the classics. I might be changing my mind after seeing Jason Wu’s collaboration with the company though! More »

For those who haven’t seen The September Issue yet, SEE IT. RIGHT NOW! For anyone who grew up flipping through the pages of Vogue, dreaming that they would one day be a part of the fashion empire (and for those who still dream that), this film is a must-see. The DVD is coming out on February 23rd with 90 minutes of extra footage! More »

February has brought the cold weather as usual in New York, but I’m trying to think warm thoughts. New York Fashion Week starts next week, and it’ll be the last season shown at Bryant Park. There are a few things I’m really hunting for right now that I think would be perfect additions to my wardrobe for the week! More »

At the recent Hong Kong Fashion Week, designer Guo Pei debuted their winter shoe collection’s outrageously high heels that caught the attention of well, everyone. Meant more to be works of art, these shoes seem to be on the heels of an architectural, dangerously high heel trend revival started by Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection and recently popularized by my queen, Lady Gaga. Ever wish you could just waltz right in to any fashion show you wanted? How about waltzing in and being seated front row? Yeah, in my dreams too. Lucky for us, anyone has the chance to have a front-row view of Marc Jacob’s Fall 2010 collection this year! He’ll be livestreaming the show on his website on February 15th at 8pm EST. More »
