Even though Heidi Klum is often a little batty and off-the-wall on Project Runway, someone you can always count on is Tim Gunn. Tim just seems like one of those people who would brighten up your day a little bit, even if he’s telling you that your clothing could be misconceived by the judges as a trash bag, because he usually also adds that it “could be genius”. Unfortunately, he’s not even giving the Kardashians the benefit of the doubt.

Tim was asked whether he supports the Kardashian’s clothing line for Bebe, to which he replied, “No! I just think the Kardashians have an absence of taste and I don’t think that that should be perpetuated. I’m sorry I’m sounding like an old farty snob but it bothers me.”

Only Tim Gunn could take a (rightfully deserved) insult and turn it into something that doesn’t sound quite so bad. I’d rather someone tell me that I have an “absence of taste” than to say that my style is tacky/slutty/anything else that can be applied to the Kardashians.

So, Tim Gunn 1, Kardashians 0. And Tim gets another point for being so impeccably stylish. Don’t worry, Tim, it’s not you being snobby — it’s the truth!
